TMS Management Group, Inc. ("TMS") welcomes you to the Iowa Non-Emergency Medical Transportation ("NEMT") Brokerage Request for Proposal web page. On February 25, 2010, the Iowa Department of Human Services/Iowa Medicaid Enterprise released RFP MED-10-011, the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Brokerage bid to solicit proposals from vendors for a transportation brokerage company that will negotiate rates, arrange transportation and reimburse transportation claims for all eligible Iowa Medicaid Members for NEMT services.

TMS was selected as the statewide broker and we believe in order to ensure the most seamless transition possible, we want all partners to be involved throughout the entire process. Our philosophy is that the proposed brokerage service will be successful only if all forms of transportation systems and stakeholders in Iowa are part of the solution.

If you are an Iowa Medicaid Member

On October 1, 2010, TMS became responsible for all parts of the non-emergency medical transportation service in Iowa and TMS is who you call when you have a need for non-emergency medical transportation. Once you have provided all necessary information, the TMS operator will tell you how your trip request will be met.

TMS has earned a reputation throughout the NEMT industry as a "provider friendly" broker, and we are determined to make good on that reputation in the State of Iowa. We will give you 24 hours advance notice of trips though our internet based trip dispatching system. This system will also help generate an invoice for you to pay you for your work twice a month.
